MANILA – Effective immediately, Ray Alimurung will begin duties as the new Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Philippines, marking a fresh phase of leadership for the country’s leading eCommerce company.
Prior to the appointment, Ray was the Chief Commercial Officer for Lazada Philippines. He has been instrumental in driving topline revenue and launching big brand partnerships with Apple, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, and Samsung.
Ray takes over the CEO role from Inanc Balci who is moving on to pursue personal interests.
Regarded as a pioneering visionary of the Philippines’ local e-commerce industry, Inanc has grown Lazada Philippines into the country’s top online shopping and selling destination in just six years. Today, the platform hosts thousands of sellers who cater to over a million monthly transactions.
