Continuing what was introduced by the Creative Guild during last year’s Kidlat Awards, the jury has adopted the brand over medium approach in judging. Through this approach, categories are crafted in a way that entries are put side by side with other entries in the same product type instead of the medium used.

“I felt uneasy about it at first. But when you start judging, it’s all about the idea anyway. You see the best ones just come out naturally,” commented Panes. “You get more comfortable as you get into it. I didn’t see any problems going through it.”

The winners will be announced on March 12 at the Kidlat Awards ceremony, culminating the Ad Summit Pilipinas 2016 at the Subic Bay Convention Center.
