Art is a matter of taste and opinion, and Manila Design Week+Design Dialogue will surely get those passions soaring. Presented by adobo magazine, MDW+Design Dialogue happens on Wednesday, August 12 at MyCinema Greenbelt 3, from 4 to 7PM.
MDW+Design Dialogue is a serious exchange between 70 leading communicators of all types: graphic designers, advertising creatives, photographers, artists and modern historians; media, politicians, strategists and pundits.
Already, MDW promises to be the biggest graphic design festival the Philippines has ever mounted, offering a week-long hive of activity: exhibits, conferences, competitions and concerts. MDW+Design Dialogue contributes a series of discussions on national identity, social responsibility and political activism—visual, visceral or void. This leg of the festival is the only one of its kind in this landmark, first annual edition of Manila Design Week.
The message is clear and the medium may now be clearer. “MDW is not just about galvanizing the local design industry. It’s about moving people to action using the language these experts know best: good design,” state the organizers.
