TAGUIG CITY – Manila tips its glass for a toast as it celebrates #LoveScotch campaign in REVEL at the Palace as a prelude to the World Whisky Day, celebrated every third Saturday of May.

International supermodel and Global Brand Ambassador, Coco Rocha and Johnnie Walker Brand Ambassador, Raymond Gutierrez kicked off the worldwide Scotch Movement in the Philippines. Gutierrez, who admits to avoid drinking Scotch before, says that there’s no such thing as the “right way to drink Scotch.” Rocha adds, “it’s cool to have scotch whenever, wherever, so I am honored to be here in Manila to raise awareness on #LoveScotch campaign and embolden more Filipinos to enjoy their Scotch drink in any way they prefer.”

Diageo Master of Whisky, Ewan Gunn held a series of Scotch master classes highlighting the following Scotch blends: Johnnie Walker Black Label, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, The Singleton of Glen Ord 12 YO, and The Singleton of Glend Ord Signature. Gunn who has over 17 years of experience in the whisky industry shared Scotch’s history, development and origin.

“One’s relationship with Scotch is more than just an infatuation–it is the kind of love that is built on a storied history, fostered over hundreds of years,” says Diageo Philippines’ General Manager Jon Good.

The #LoveScotch campaign seeks to spark a global love affair with Scotch and ignite passion amongst a new generation of whisky drinkers by bringing to the forefront the craftsmanship behind the blends and Scotch’s unique style and substance.
