MANILA – Lowe Philippines has two finalist entries so far at the 2014 London International Awards, with its ‘Plastic Kids, Plastic Grandma, Plastic Dudes’ campaign for SM Eco Bag being shortlisted in both Print and Poster.
Lowe is the sole Philippine agency on both shortlists.
Claiming nine out of the 63 entries, France led the Print shortlist with campaigns from Herezie, Marcel, Publicis Conseil, and Red Wax.
The United States had seven entries, with six by DDB New York, and one from Alma DDB.
With six entries each were Germany and the United Kingdom, with campaigns from BBDO Germany, DDB Group, DDB Team Blue, Geometry Global Germany, Grabars & Partner, serviceplan, adamandeveDDB, and Leo Burnett London.
Brazil and China had five entries each, with campaigns from AlmapBBDO, FCB Brasil, Ogilvy Brasil, Publicis Brasil, VML Brazil, Lowe and Partners, and Y&R Beijing.
Singapore’s four entries all come from BBDO Proximity Singapore, while India’s three entries come from McCann Worldgroup Mumbai.
Canada, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Vietnam had two shortlisted entries each from agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi Canada, Banamex CDC, DDC Mexico, McCann Lima, Publicis Peru, DDB Latina Puerto Rico, Leo Burnett Vietnam, and Lowe Vietnam.
Like the Philippines, with one entry each are Argentina, Czech Republic, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, with campaigns from Ogilvy & Mather Argentina, Y&R Prague, Ogilvy & Mather New Zealand, Ogilvy & Mather Johannesburg, DDB Spain, Leo Burnett Solutions, and Havas Worldwide Istanbul.
France also led the Poster shortlist, along with the United Kingdom. Both claimed seven entries each out of the 46 total. Shortlisted campaigns came from Marcel Paris, Red Wax, adamandeveDDB, AMVBBDO, and DLKWLOWE.
Singapore had six entries each, all from BBDO Proximity Singapore, while Germany had 5 shortlists from Heimat, Heye, Kolle Rebbe, and Ogilvy Germany.
With three entries each were Australia, Brazil, and China, with ads from Leo Burnett Sydney, AlmapBBDO, Publicis Brasil, Lowe and Partners, and Y&R Beijing.
Sweden, Hong Kong, and India had two campaigns each on the shortlist, from Akestam Holst, Ogilvy & Mather Group Hong Kong, Red Fuse Communications, and McCann Worldgroup Mumbai.
With one entry each were New Zealand, Switzerland, Pakistan, Austria, and Vietnam. Campaigns came from Y&R New Zealand, Y&R Group Switzerland, BBDO Pakistan, Jung von Matt Vienna, and Lowe Vietnam.
The winners will be announced on November 3.
