MANILA – Lowe Philippines leads the Philippines finalists at the 2014 Clio awards, with seven shortlisted entries.
Lowe’s ‘Plastic Bags Cause Floods Poster Campaign (C)’ for SM Eco Bag was shortlisted in Out-of-Home, while the campaign’s single works, ‘Plastic Grandma,’ ‘Plastic Kids,’ and ‘Plastic Dudes’ were each nominated twice in the Print Technique category.
Other local agencies that made the Clio shortlists were DM9JaymeSyfu, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett Manila, McCann Worldgroup Philippines, and TBWA\ Santiago Mangada Puno.
DM9JaymeSyfu’s ‘TXTBKS’ campaign for Smart Communications was shortlisted three times: in Content & Contact, Direct, and Innovative Media.
Ace Saatchi & Saatchi also counts three shortlisted entries: ‘Family Remeet’ for Cebuana Lhuillier under Direct and Out-Of-Home, and ‘ZZZ Radio’ for Pampers under Branded Content & Entertainment.
Two of Leo Burnett’s entries were shortlisted: ‘Aid Couture’ for P&G under Content & Contact, and ‘Iceberg’ for the World Wild Fund for Nature under Print.
McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ ‘PCSI Cancer Radio (C)’ for the Philippine Cancer Society was shortlisted in Audio, while TBWA\ SMP’s ‘Koi Fish Feed Invite’ for Ayala Land was shortlisted in Design.
