MANILA – In line with its continuing efforts to strengthen its Creative, Accounts and Digital capabilities, Lowe Philippines recently announced a number of promotions to start the year.
Mike Trillana has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Lowe Philippines. He previously held the position of VP – Business Operations and Development. In his new role, Trillana is focused on developing fresh and exciting services to both current and future clients, as well as strengthening industry ties as the agency takes on 2015 and beyond. “Mike’s new role reflects the importance we are placing on the future of both the agency and our industry. With his instinct for innovation, he is a major strength in navigating exciting, uncharted opportunities for Lowe,” said Leigh Reyes, president of Lowe Philippines.
Abi Aquino has been promoted to Executive Creative Director. Since 2007, she has led creative duties on iconic campaigns for many of the Philippines’ leading brands, including Cornetto “Bente,” Selecta “Sarap Ng Weekend,” and the currently trending “Macho Ganado” campaign for Mang Tomas. She has been awarded at Cannes, LIA, Kidlat, and Tambuli, for both creativity and effectiveness. Reyes said, “I believe we’re on a winning streak. Abi will ensure we go from strength to strength as we upgrade and expand our creative offer.”
Mylene Rayala now takes on the role of Client Services Director. She has over a decade’s experience in managing client relationships, across multiple categories, in both a local and a regional capacity. “Mylene forges true partnerships with our clients. Within the agency, she harnesses our different areas of expertise (strategic planning, business mindset, creative and technology) to best serve our clients’ needs,” Reyes added.
Rounding out the promotions is Raffy Bariso, who now joins Lowe’s Creative Technology Unit as Account Director. His experience covers digital media strategy and implementation, web and mobile app development, social media management, and performance metrics analysis. His work on Wendy’s digital campaign helped it win a Bronze Boomerang in 2014 as well as best-of-class recognition within Wendy’s global network.
“I’m proud of Lowe’s next generation of leaders – and I look forward to the impact they will make on the industry,” said Reyes.
