MANILA – adobo magazine named ‘Makahiya’ by Lowe Philippines the 2013 Ad of the Year.
The ad, which ran during the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival, warns against the negative effects of the use of violence in disciplining children.
The ad is based on global research on the effects of corporal punishment on children and the long running work of Save the Children against corporal punishment and the promotion of positive discipline.
The Ad of the Year awards were given during “Milestones”, adobo magazine’s eighth anniversary party on April 10.
