MADWORLD 2019: 10,000 Junior Marketers Gather to Unravel the Art of Influence with PJMA and Havas Media Ortega

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Last 24th of February 2019, the Philippine Junior Marketing Association held its flagship titled “MADWORLD: Unraveling the Art of Influence” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

With nearly 10,000 junior marketers attending from all over the country, the conference was expected to deliver its promise of providing a fruitful and memorable experience for its attendees.

Before the event started however, the audience was immediately treated to a spectacular performance by GraceNote.

Spearheading the event was Mr. Jos Ortega, the CEO of Havas Ortega, as he gave his conference introduction into what Influencer Marketing was all about. He was then followed by Mr. James Dala, the project head of MADWORLD 2019, as he gave his opening remarks.

The conference then saw a plethora of well-experienced speakers such as Ms. Kate Delos Reyes, the CEO of GetCraft, Mr. Carlo Ople, the VP for Digital Marketing Strategy and Consumer Disruptive Business for PLDT, and Mr. MJ De Leon, the Blogger/ Senior Social Media and Digital Supervisor of Megaworld Corp.

The trio of Ms. Aisa Ipac, Ms. Ana Gonzales, and Mr. Paul Chuapoco also took center stage as they introduced “Bloggers United”, an event wherein fans could interact with their favorite influencers face-to-face.

Other notable speakers included Mr. Francis Flores, the Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer for Jollibee Foods Corporation, Ms. Karen Ibasco, the winner of Miss Earth 2017, and Ms. Alex Gonzaga, a YouTube Vlogger as well as one of the recognizable artists in the industry.
