MANILA – Learning from experts in their respective fields is something that every person with a desire to excel longs to do. After all, people with extensive experience and who have earned recognition know what works and what doesn’t in their arenas. The voices of people who know and who have been through all kinds of good and bad scenarios should not be ignored, but rather sought out and learned from.
That is what the adobo Design Series aims to do.
A compilation of short talks presented by members of the distinguished jury of the adobo Design Awards Asia (aDAA) 2016, this year’s adobo Design Series promises to be an enriching experience for creative talents in advertising, marketing, media and design. The whole day affair will be a series of short but inspiring talks on various design-related topics, by no less than the esteemed aDAA judges led by D&AD president Andy Sandoz, who will give the keynote address and opening talk.
Other speakers include Arnold Arre, renowned graphic novel writer and illustrator; Benjamin Marasigan, chairperson of the Animation Program at De La Salle-College of St. Benilde; Leigh Reyes, president and COO of MullenLowe; Ric Gindap, creative director of Design forTomorrow; Patrick Cabral, type artist; and the husband-wife tandem of Bru Sim Nada and Marcus Nada, owners of Electrolychee.
The event will be held at the Mind Museum from 9:00am until 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 22. Tickets are available at P4,500 for professionals, P2,250 for students, plus 12% VAT. We are offering an early bird discount of 20% off for bookings received on or before March 8.
