MANILA – Ambient Digital Philippines (ADP) has named Matt Robinson to the newly created position of chief executive officer.
Robinson is currently Acting Country Head for ADP in addition to his broader role as Ambient Digital Group (ADG) chief operating officer across all of the group’s five markets. ADG confirms that he will retain this position in addition to his role at ADP.
ADG was launched in Vietnam in 2010, expanding its Asian footprint by opening ADP in 2012. A Singapore office was opened in 2013 followed by Thailand in 2014.
Robinson was the Asia Pacific chief information officer for GroupM before joining ADG in January 2014.
“Matt [Robinson] has been acting as country head of ADP since January 2015 and has presided over a period of strong growth, an expanded team, and our move to new premises,” said ADG chief executive officer Andrew Stephens.
“This is, therefore, a logical development as we continue to expand our already very strong Philippines offering,” he added.
The appointment comes two months after ADP made four top appointments headlined by Sandra Go who will take on the newly created role of associate planning director. Joining her are three senior sales managers. Manuel Cajumban and Guada De Los Reyes are newcomers to the ADP family while Toni Lalinde secured the role via promotion in recognition of her consistent sales performance.
