McCann Worldgroup Philippines and Fully Booked bring home top honors at the New York Festivals, and the Australian AWARD Awards

MANILA – McCann Philippines earned two more major international wins, picking up the country’s only First Prize Tower at the New York Festivals in New York, before scoring the lone Gold for Asia at the Australian AWARD Awards in Sydney, both for Fully Booked Lives.

This is just the latest victory for McCann and Fully Booked’s winning streak, which began with a Gold Lion at Cannes last year before picking up wins at almost every major award show over the past 12 months.

The New York win was also McCann Philippines’ second year in a row after picking up a Third Prize tower in 2017. This year, they also earned finalist citations for their work on Jollibee and Nestle. McCann Worldgroup was also named Global Network of the Year. Mr. Joe Dy, the Executive Creative Director who received the Tower in person, while livestreaming the experience to his team back home represented the agency in New York.

The win at The Australian Writers and Art Directors Awards was extra special because it was the lone Gold pencil given out for radio, and it was the only Gold win for Asia.

AWARD (The Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association) is now in its 39th year and is the one of the most important awards show in the region. It has a membership of the finest creative minds from New Zealand, to South East Asia and across the states of Australia. Only 48 pencils were handed out, after a panel of judges sifted through about 2,000 entries across all categories
