TAGUIG CITY – Just a few weeks after their dominant performance at the Asia Pacific Effies, and their big win at New York, McCann Philippines put up another stellar showing this time at the recently concluded Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards 2018 held at Shangri-La at The Fort.
McCann Philippines garnered three Gold, two Silver and two Bronze awards for some of their biggest clients. Two golds went to Jollibee for ‘#KwentongJollibee Connecting with Customers through Compelling Storytelling’ and for ‘#LakisaLolo #LakisaLola, Humanity and Culture. The agency won a third Gold, this time for Nestle Philippines’ “Chuckie ‘Smile, Love “under the Family Centered Brand category.
The agency also took home two Silver awards, one for Nestle / Maggi ‘Project Touch’ under the Family Centered Brand Category and another for Coca Cola “‘Coke Studio Season 1’ under Youth Brand. Adding to their total haul, ‘Jollibee 2017’and ‘#KwentongJollibee Connecting with Customers through Compelling Storytelling’ were each given Bronze trophies for Integrated Digital and for Brand Storytelling respectively.
McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific also picked up three out of the six Grand Prix awards given by the Overall Executive Jury that night. These include, ‘Making Immunization into a Tradition’ by McCann India for Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan which got a Grand Prix for Innovation, ‘Power Struggle’ by McCann Melbourne for AGL given a Grand Prix for Humanity and Culture and ‘Washable Book’ by McCann Healthcare Worldwide Japan for ANGFA that was awarded with aa Grand Prix for Humanity and Culture.
McCann Healthcare Worldwide Japan got one silver for ‘Washable Book’ for ANGFA while McCann India’s ‘Making Immunization Into A Tradition’ for Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan also got a silver for Health and Wellness.
Initiated by the University of Asia and the Pacific, the Asia-Pacific Tambuli Awards began in 2005, honoring brands that do good and do well and are focused on mainstream brand campaigns that celebrate humanity, inspire purpose and deliver results. Entries from Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East are accepted, including campaigns created or initiated from anywhere in the world that run in Asia-Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.
