MANILA — While all of us are still tucked in our beds, sleeping soundly, some members of the workforce are already on their feet, starting a hard day’s work.
They are the street sweepers, the MRT ticket tellers and operators, the tricycle drivers without whom, we would wake up to dirty streets, and wouldn’t be able to get to where we have to be.
So, on National Breakfast Day last March, McDonalds paid tribute to the early risers by giving them free McMuffins and a cup of brewed coffee to perk up their morning.
