MANILA – Now on its fifth year, the stakes are higher than ever at the adobo Design Awards, with a judging panel composed of some of the top guns in the advertising and design industry.
On this year’s jury is JWT Executive Creative Director Dave Ferrer, the first Filipino to win the Cannes Gold Lion.
Big things come in “cute” packages. With his chinito look and childish smile, who would think that Dave Ferrer’s humble appearance could untame the Cannes Gold Lion Award?
Being the first Filipino to bring home the elusive prize did not come easy – it took him 18 years of experience to become the best hunter for the award. Joining JWT as Executive Creative Director in 2005, he is the man behind the award-winning Shick Icons series campaign for Schick Extracta Razors.
He is also the youngest creative to be inducted into the Philippine Creative Guild Hall of Fame. Indeed, this man roars creativity.
