Mercury Drug, WAV Atmospheric Branding launch Mercury Drug Radio

MANILA – Drug store chain Mercury Drug has partnered with sensory marketind company WAV Atmospheric Branding to launch the largest point-of-purchase radio in the country – Mercury Drug Radio. 

According to a press release, Mercury Drug has a daily traffic of 1.2 million visitors, across 950 stores nationwide. With a total average of 32 million Filipino customers a month, Mercury Drug Radio has the largest captured audience in the country. 

Through Mercury Drug Radio, customers will hear targeted brand messages in-store, right at the point-of-purchase.

“All Mercury Drug branches have upgraded to a cutting edge audio infrastructure, the AudioWAV Music System (AWMS) 10 AIO – the latest all in one tamper proof amplified music and messaging technology created by WAV Atmospheric Branding. Through the AWMS 10 AIO, the music programs and radio spots are all updated online,” the press release said.

It noted that all branches are monitored and controlled to ensure sound quality and consistency.
