Mobext emerges as sole winner at Smarties 2015 for Philippines

MANILA – Mobext Philippines is the only mobile marketing agency in the country to win in the APAC Smarties Awards 2015.

Recognized for its excellent work on Shakey’s Pizza’s innovative mobile website, Mobext Philippines bagged the bronze award in the Mobile Website category.

Aside from its seamless mobile-friendly design, Shakey’s mobile website stands out with its ability to tap into a crucial target market.

The Philippines has a large — and commanding — migrant population, with millions of Filipinos living overseas and billions of dollars worth of remittances per year.

Putting pizza-gifting front and center on its mobile website, Shakey’s lets Filipinos abroad send pizzas to their loved ones in the Philippines. With the “Send the Shakey’s” option, customers can easily order food for their family and friends.

The Smarties Awards is an international awards program spearheaded by the Mobile Marketing Association. A total of 71 entries competed in 15 categories for the Smarties Awards in the Asia-Pacific region.

This win is the 5th Smarties award for Mobext Philippines, which is now on its third year of winning at the Smarties Awards. The agency won 2 awards in 2014 for its McDelivery Mobile program — a Silver in the m-Commerce category and a Bronze in the Mobile Website category.

In 2013, Mobext Philippines took home a Silver in m-Commerce for McDonald’s Ang Pao Mobile Coupons and a Silver in Lead Generation for its Procter & Gamble In-Store Tablet Marketing campaign.
