Mobext is sole PHL winner at SMARTIES APAC 2014

MANILA – Mobext bagged two metals at the recently concluded SMARTIES APAC 2014, making it the sole Philippine winner at the awards held in Singapore last September 5.

Created for McDonald’s, Mobext’s ‘McDelivery Mobile’ won awards in both categories it was shortlisted in, taking home a Silver in mCommerce and a Bronze in Mobile Website.

The campaign was launched in August 2013, the competition was created to enhance the ordering experience for McDonald’s customers. The campaign was also a finalist at the 2014 Festival of Media Global Awards.

This is not the first time that McDonald’s and Mobext have won at the SMARTIES APAC. In 2013, the agency won a Silver in mCommerce for its ‘Ang Pao Mobile Coupons’ campaign.

The SMARTIES APAC 2014 saw winners across 21 categories with Mindshare and Unilever bringing home the top awards.
