TAGUIG – Carlo de Leon has been appointed as Movent’s new managing partner.
His work as Client Services Director was pivotal in the growth of NetBooster Asia’s client base since 2010. The agency’s growth caught the attention of GroupM, the biggest digital company armed with the largest media group in the country. In 2011, GroupM showed an interest in integrating with NetBooster. de Leon played an essential role in the integration of NetBooster Asia and GroupM, which saw the NetBooster name rebranded as Movent.
“Carlo has been a key partner in helping us grow and structure the business. His strong digital knowledge and strategic thinking helped us gain some of the biggest brands in the industry. By taking the Managing Partner role, Carlo will be able to expand the reach of Movent and establish the brand as the flagship when it comes to digital innovation,” stated Laurent Goirand, one of the founding partners of Movent and now GroupM’s Head of Digital.
De Leon was previously held the positions of Deputy Managing Director and Client Services Director of NetBooster Asia, Digital CRM Strategist of Arc Worldwide, Data Analytics Director of MRM Worldwide and CRM Director of TEQUILA/TBWA. He is known for his experience in CRM, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Database Marketing.
In line with the promotion of de Leon, Karla Ylen and Charina Salamat have been promoted as Movent’s new Business Group Directors. They will aid de Leon in developing strategic programs that will strengthen the agency’s relationship with its clients and further drive innovative and effective digital solutions.
