MANILA – myRemit, remittance arm of ABS-CBN Global Ltd. subsidiary EMoney Plus Inc. pays tribute to day-to-day heroes who make sacrifices for their families’ future – the overseas Filipinos – for a greater end via a video tribute “My Dad Left Me and I’m Thankful For It.”
The video tribute, a part of TFC’s remittance brand myREMIT’s 15th anniversary, tells the story of a man who musters enough strength to leave his young child at a tender age of five, in order to fend for his family’s needs.
The child, initially wells up at the thought of his father leaving him and realization that he will not see him for a long time because he needs to work overseas to fend for the family.
According to Raymund Abog, business unit head for remittance, “myREMIT goes beyond overseas Filipinos’ remittances as a fulfillment of an obligation but a manifestation of their love. This is the reason why we value each customer, each transaction like they were our own – a part of our own family. Our tagline “Iba Magmalasakit ang Kapamilya” speaks of this commitment.
“My Dad Left Me And I’m Thankful For It” was produced by TFC’s Marketing Communications team composed of Jay Santiago, Audie Avecilla Riola, Jocelyn Mendiola, Charles Bautista, Jed Segovia, Cristina Verano, Francis Lua, Rowena Lucero, Paz Valera, and Cayla Ursabia under the supervision of Head of Marketing Services Pamela Castillo and Head of Creative Communications Management Roberto Labayen.
