One of the country’s leading full-service marketing communications groups, DDB Group Philippines (DDB) grew its roster of client partners with impressive bounds in the first semester of 2019. The group won several local and multinational brands that chose to trust the expertise of its creative and digital specialists, media strategists, and public relations professionals.

In the tourism sector, DDB logged in the much-coveted Department of Tourism (DOT) sustainable tourism campaign as well as rail service company Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC)’s ikotMNL local tourism project.

Big corporate wins in the industrial sector include Ayala Corporation’s holding company for its industrial technology investments, AC Industrials, particularly its multi-brand dealership group, AC Automotive, which carries Honda, Isuzu, Kia Philippines, Volkswagen, KTM, and Maxus;  Sonic Steel, the largest galvanizing company in the Philippines; and independent fuel player RePhil.

Multinationals like the world’s leading international tobacco company, Philip Morris, also got DDB to spearhead its product relaunch after being out of the market for quite some time. In a similarly impressive win, DDB was awarded megabrand Johnson’s Baby and is now the lead agency for the brand’s biggest relaunch in decades. Other brands in the group’s new list of clients also include a multinational brand of prestige skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products, as well as market leading Japanese brand Toshiba Air Conditioners.

The group’s new brand assignments also include integrated healthcare provider Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health), and giant condiments maker NutriAsia Food Service Group (FSG).

DDB Group Philippines Chairman & CEO Gil G. Chua attributes the group’s success to its diversely talented people as well as to the passion and excellent leadership of its companies’ managing directors, namely, Vina V. Henson (DDB MNL), Elaine S. de Padua (DDB PHL), Diane M. Chua (Tribal Worldwide), Robert T. Vito (Ripple8), Antonio R. Samson (Touch XDA), and Chewy M. Chua (Agile Intelligence).

“We are proud of our award-winning teams for continuously winning the trust of brands. I particularly thank and congratulate our hardworking managing directors for making all these possible. They play a key role in bringing out the best in our people, enabling them boundaryless freedom to break barriers, while focusing on helping grow our client’s business,” Chua said.

Now in its 27th year, DDB Group Philippines has become the largest integrated marketing communications and services networks in the country, transforming and building the equity of the country’s biggest and market-leading as well as niche brands.
