Nido Mother’s Day Tearjerker tops Youtube top 10 ads in PH

MANILA – Google released its Youtube Ads leaderboard for the first half of 2015 for the Philippines revealing the top 10 most popular ads among Filipino internet users.

From the results, it can be concluded that Pinoys are starting to appreciate ads with distinct Filipino flavor. Users also favor ads that mimic films or music videos than straight out advertisements like Nestle’s Nido Mother’s Day Commercial and the Palmolive music video staring local celebrities.

Meanwhile, findings show that Filipino users like watching global ads with compelling treatment like Hyundai’s ’A Message to Space’ and the Clash of Clans ad featuring hollywood actor Liam Neeson.

Interestingly, the leaderboard is largely populated by ads with formats created specifically for digital, with Youtube’s audience in mind.
