MANILA – Ever wonder why dads are rarely present in family photos? Paying tribute to the man who’s usually behind the camera, Publicis JimenezBasic and Canon Philippines have released an online video to deliver Father’s Day greetings to “the official family photographer.”

The agency explained that the film captures the father’s role when it comes to family portraits. “The truth is, it’s usually the father who is the one behind the camera and prints all the photos,” they said.

The film is made up of photographs taken by non-professional photographers: The fathers. With imperfect lighting and composition, the simple, touching film focuses on fathers without showing them, instead showing photos that reveal their passion for taking images of loved ones.
