NuWorks brings home Philippines’ only Gold in Festival of Media Awards APAC for Belo; bags Kidlat Craft, Innovation Awards for Greenwich.

NuWorks won gold for the Philippines in the recently concluded 2018 Festival of Media Awards APAC held in Singapore, for best use of an influencer category for Belo’s “Flawless for All” digital campaign. This came in a few days after the agency won a silver and a bronze at the 2018 edition of Kidlat Awards.

NuWorks bested Y&R Engage New Zealand’s “Nayi Soch: New Thinking” and Mindshare India’s “Turning a biscuit ad into a movie” in the said category at FOMA 2018.

Other entries that were shortlisted prior to awards night in various categories for the Philippines were O&M’s Dove Standard of Beauty, Mindshare’s #changeisbeautiful for Ponds and Cream Silk takes on the (Miss) Universe, and Wavemaker’s Celebrity Car Wars and Colgate Fresh Confidence.

At the 2018 Kidlat Awards, lightning struck twice for the country’s biggest independent digital innovations agency, as it got silver in the Craft category, and a bronze in the Innovations category for Greenwich GBox, the first-ever playable pizza box in the country using mobile technology. 

This was the first time that NuWorks entered and won in FOMA and Kidlat, as the agency leveraged on its strong and innovative creative, data, and media department integration.
