People: BBDO Guerrero appoints co-general managers to agency team, Karen Go and Angelica Lorenzo

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – BBDO GUERRERO has appointed Karen Go and Angelica Lorenzo as co-General Managers of the agency. They will join the agency’s executive committee and report directly to CEO Francine Kahn-Gonzalez. The two are tasked to grow and manage the agency’s two main business units. Both have spent most of their careers at the agency and have developed strong client partnerships over the years through their commitment to work excellence and results. 

Go has over fifteen years of agency experience. She spent her early years at BBDO before departing to take on assignments in several markets abroad. She returned in 2012 to manage a number of the agency’s key clients and was behind some of its most notable work including Pantene’s ‘Labels Against Women’ and Snickers’ ‘Wrong World Finals’. Go will oversee BBDO’s portfolio of clients including MARS, Visa, and Red Ribbon, among others, as well as the new business and marketing efforts of the agency. 

Similarly, Lorenzo has spent most of her career at BBDO. She leads the business with the agency’s largest client, PepsiCo, and continues to take the partnership from strength to strength. She has led the development of great work both locally and globally on brands such as Mountain Dew and Aquafina. Lorenzo will also oversee the agency’s creative unit which handles Unilever. Additionally, she will spearhead the talent initiatives for the group.
