People: Dentsu Aegis Network Names JC Catibog as New Market Chief Executive Officer, Effective February 2020

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has appointed JC Catibog as Market CEO for its Philippine operations. As the new CEO starting in February, Catibog will set the overall strategy for the network in the Philippines, ensuring integrated offerings from its agencies: Dentsu Jayme-Syfu, Aspac, Carat, Vizeum, Dentsu X, Posterscope, iProspect, and DGility. His key focus will be to leverage DAN’s culture of innovation and transformational ideas to establish solutions that will future-proof their clients’ brands and businesses, as well as DAN Philippines business itself. 

Prior to this, Catibog was the Managing Director of BBDO South China where he led the transformation of the office in terms of business growth, creative excellence, client relations, and office culture. He is a seasoned brand builder having worked extensively on breakthrough local, regional and global campaigns during his stints at BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. An expatriate for 24 years, he held key leadership posts in Jakarta, Greater China, and New York.

Catibog will replace outgoing Market CEO, Donald Lim and will report directly to Ashish Bhasin, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network APAC.
