People: Tats Cruz appointed head of agency at Publicis JimenezBasic, following the leave of CEO Bebot Ngo

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Publicis Groupe Philippines has announced that with the departure of Chief Executive Officer Bebot Ngo, Tats Cruz has been appointed as head of agency of Publicis JimenezBasic. She assumes the role concurrent to her position as Managing Director of the agency.

Prior to her appointment, Cruz has held a number of leadership positions at PJB. At one time, she was head of accounts and client service director.

With more than 20 years of experience, she has seen the Agency through its brightest, as well as its toughest of times.

“My appointment to this position comes at a critical time given the situation we all find ourselves in. Bebot Ngo departs after 22 years at PJB.

Under her leadership and management prowess, PJB won Agency of the Year in the 4As, Boomerang and Tambuli, and was likewise awarded Best in Market Performance and Best in Management of Business in several occasions.

It was Bebot too, who readied the Agency for digital transformation, steering the organization way ahead of the industry, to be digitally-equipped to offer end-to-end solutions to Clients under one roof.
