MANILA, PHILIPPINES – After 5 years working overseas, Tin Sanchez returns to the local ad industry as Deputy Executive Creative Director of Wunderman Thompson Philippines, back together with Brandie Tan as Executive Creative Director.
Their creative partnership goes way back in 2003 at BBDO Guerrero and continued in JWT Manila where they won the Philippines’ first Gold Cannes Lion with Dave Ferrer and Golda Roldan.
In 2010, Tan and Sanchez became co-ECDs in BBDO Guerrero and helped shape some of the country’s most successful campaigns, including Bayan Telecom’s Lola Techie and It’s More Fun in the Philippines for the Department of Tourism. When Tan moved to Kuala Lumpur, Sanchez continued to lead successes for the agency and its clients, with multi-awarded campaigns like Pantene Labels Against Women, The Unselfie and Modess Angels, before landing creative leadership roles in Kuala Lumpur, London, New York and Chicago.
“Tin and I have never stopped being supportive of each other with our shared passion for the work and complementary creative styles. This time, our partnership is recharged with our own experiences working apart,” shared Tan.
Chief Executive Officer Roldan adds, “Tin complements our agency culture which she helped shape years ago. Our creative talent will benefit and definitely enjoy her mentorship, as she and Brandie continue to uphold our standards of creative excellence. Her global perspective, after working around the world, will add to the agency’s competitive edge as we navigate our changing landscape. It’s been an emotional 2019 with our beloved CCO passing, and it’s reassuring to have Tin back home with us.”
