MANILA – International sports marketing agency MMC Sportz has just launched a new awards that will honor remarkable businesses, organizations, facilities and campaigns in the sporting industry across Asia.
Called the Asian Industry Sports Awards (AISA), it covers 10 separate categories, both professional and community focused. The countries that can participate in the awards are the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Brunei and Myanmar.
Submissions will open on June 1 and will only accept entries that have taken place, completed, operated and or executed between January 1, 2014 and May 30, 2015.
According to statement, “each submission will be subject to a rigid and transparent 3-step judging process, facilitated by an international panel of the region’s leading industry experts and overseen by auditors in strict accordance with the international sport industry award rules.”
“The vision and core strategies for the sporting landscape in Asia, as implemented by supporting federal and national bodies, have ensured the region remains ahead of the game, constantly setting new standards that have become the envy of the intentional sporting arena,” MMC Sportz CEO Eric Gottschalk said.
The awards will be presented at a red carpet star-studded celebrity gala on September 25 at the New World Hotel Makati, Manila, Philippines.
