MANILA – Mogu Mogu was a surprise treat for convenience store patrons when it arrived in the Philippines back in 2010 from Thailand. The fruit juice blended with chewy Nata de Coco bits stood out from store shelves often populated with soft drinks and other beverage staples.
After quietly launching TVCs in 2013 and some promos in between, the brand decided to also stand out with on-ground this year via Posterscope and sister agencies Vizeum and Isobar who were tasked to create a fitting activation for them.

The Dentsu Aegis Network agencies went to Robinsons Place Manila, Glorietta, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA to set up a whole slew of games for mall goers to participate in. Headlining the campaign was Mogu Mogu’s first-ever roving bottle, which comically chased people back to the activity area
The whole idea introduced Mogu Mogu to more people, presenting it as a fun and relatable brand. The result? Facebook page likes grew 5 times within the first week and doubled its reach to 20 million. Engagement was also up 10 to 15,000 users. Now, that’s something to chew on (Mogu Mogu means “to chew” in Japanese)
