MANILA – Ompong Remigio, Campaigns & Grey’s long-serving chief creative officer, has stepped down from the agency, the second senior talent to leave the Philippine shop after founder and group chair Yoly Ong’s mid-year departure.
Remigio is believed to be striking out on her own and her departure has triggered a restructuring of the agency.
Campaigns has promoted creative directors Rizzo Tangan and Noel Orosa to executive creative director, while CD Mags Sandoval has been elevated to deputy ECD.
The agency has also promoted Lovel Aniag and Jody Castillo to associate creative director.
Dubbed the ‘Queen of Radio’ with 150 radio awards for brands under the Nestle, Bayer and Johnson & Johnson portfolio to her name, Remigio has won an equal number for her TV and print output.
