Rogue, one of the Manila’s wittiest and most literary men’s magazines, finally took its beta to fruition and declared its official entry into the Digital arena.
In a lavish party at Whitespace last September 23, Managing Director Katrina Tuason Cruz and Editor-in-Chief Jose Mari Ugarte (pictured on the left) introduced their website, Rogue Magazine Online, which offers features, columns, fashion editorials and photo essays.
In addition, the site contains video and live-stream audio that allows fans to see, hear and chat with their favorite rogues (and Rogue models, of course).
Teaming up with Pelicola.tv, a local provider of Internet TV content, Rogue|Presents is a video interpretation of the magazine’s articles. "The show is composed of video portraits that explore ‘unconventional,’ sometimes ‘controversial,’ and < width="300" height="221" align="right" src=" rogue online. Although it is a latecomer in the field dominated by FHM, Rogue has carved a niche for itself in men’s magazines. Beautifully photographed and lovingly written in English (mostly), the independent publication has attracted fans among the the upper class male and female adults.
Along with FHM, Rogue’s foray into the Internet is an effort to follow Filipinos who, per Nielsen’s latest half-year report, are consuming less and less of print.
