MANILA – Capping off its centennial anniversary, Shell has released an ad that celebrates its 100th Christmas in the Philippines.
The ad created by JWT Manila and produced by Film Pabrika takes the viewers on a visual journey that seamlessly and continuously zooms out to show how the company has become, and continues to be, a part of the country’s progress and Filipinos’ lives.
The ad, which can be viewed here, comes at the tail-end of the company’s 100th year, which kicked off in January 2014 with an ad that showed Shell’s nation-building efforts, such as providing education through its Gas Mo, Bukas Mo Scholarships, giving employment support to out-of-school youth through the Sanayan sa Kakayahang Industriyal Program, paving roads with Shell Bitumen, and building homes through its Gawad Kalinga partnerships.
“We have introduced many innovations and firsts in the country,” Edgar Chua, country chairman of Shell companies in the Philippines said in January.
“As we continue towards the path of powering progress in the country, we can be very proud of our legacy in this country,” he said.
