Singapore – Adding to yesterday’s 17 ads in the first shortlists, the Philippines added nine more on the second day of Spikes Asia.
In Radio, the country dominated the category by fielding seven of the 13 shortlisted ads. JWT Manila contributed three; DM9 JaymeSyfu, two; BBDO Guerrero/Proximity and TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno have one each.
While Thailand ruled the TV/Cinema shortlists, two of TBWASantiago Mangada Puno’s entries sailed through.
The Digital shortlists were also released today. As expected, Japan proved to be the country to beat, with 31 of the 63 final entries.
Tomorrow, on the last day of Spikes Asia, the last set of shortlists–Integrated, Print Craft and TV/Cinema Craft–will be announced, followed with the Spikes Awards in the evening.
