Stratworks and UST, back-to-back winners at Philippine Quill Awards 2015

MANILA – The International Association of Business Communicators Philippines (IABC) has awarded the country’s top corporations, communication agencies, online publishers and schools in the recently concluded Philippine Quill Awards, the country’s most prestigious and comprehensive awards in business communications held on Tuesday at The Marriott Grand Ballroom.

This year’s awards ceremony saw back-to-back winners including Stratworks, the Agency of the Year for 2014 and 2015, and University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the School of the Year for the second year in a row.

With 11 excellence awards, Meralco took home the Company of the Year Award. Smart Communications came in at first runner up while Unilever Philippines was the second runner up.

Meanwhile, the annual Holcim Sustainability Award was given to John Paul Madrid of Colegio San Juan de Letran, another back-to-back winner. Letran’s entry, “Sukat,” also scooped the Philippine Student Quill Top Award.

“Let’s laud all the 64 students whose work stand shoulder to shoulder with the best,” said Richard Arboleda, Chair, Student Quill Awards.”

Other big winners of the night were EON The Stakeholders Relation Group’s “The 2014 Philippine Trust Index” which won the Top Award for Communication Research; Mommy Mundo’s #MomManifesto, Top Award winner for Communication Skills, and Manila Water Company, Inc., Top Award winner for Communication Management.

adobo magazine’s very own Passion Project 2015 also snatched a Merit Award for Communication Skills.
