Tinta Awards chairman Angel Guerrero said that this year’s Tinta Awards has grown even more from last year. “We have a record number of entries, 20 percent from last year, from over 20 companies comprised of advertising agencies, media agencies, publications, advertisers and students,” Guerrero said.
“This healthy growth in entries is an indication that creativity in print, the world’s oldest medium, is a growing and exciting space for effective creativity.”
UPMG President Ricky Alegre said that the Tinta Awards reinforces the dominance and presence of print in today’s ad mix. “We believe the power of print will grow stronger because we have decided to embrace digital,” he said.
