GLOBAL — Before they hit the ring, 8-Division World Champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and the undefeated, 5-Division World Champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather showed off their half-oily and half-sweaty muscular bodies and put their game face on for a TV commercial.
HBO Boxing released the badass commercial yesterday featuring the most awaited and talked about boxing event of the year that’s happening on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, not that it needs any more promotion. As early as now, the tickets ranging from a whopping $1,500 to $7,500 each are already reportedly sold out within 15 minutes after the fight was announced. Rumors have it that scalpers are selling tickets for way, way more than that.
Fans, both sporty and not, have been waiting for this moment to arrive. For years, there had been talks (and a lot of trash talking) about this coveted face off between the two world champions and now we are just a few days away from witnessing this historical bout.
Sports analysts and wannabes are divided on who would be taking home the crown, what with both boxers oozing with pride, confidence and winning streaks on the ring, it’s safe to say—it’s anybody’s game.
