This spot turns on the idea that in Earth Hour, everyone could switch off their lights to vote for the planet – even kids. To make that point, Leo Burnett Sydney and director Tim Denton of Robot I pictures, created this spot:

The idea is based on pre-election films, with the twist that the kids are rallying the vote, for a much bigger candidate, planet Earth. It aims to broaden the target to include the children of the world and of course adoring parents. One of the children in the spot is young Australian actor Brandon Walters who starred along-side Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman in the recent film ‘Australia’.
