MANILA – Form Function & Class is an annual gathering that imparts essential knowledge to the web design community. FFC will be held on November 8, 2014, marking its fifth year as the pioneering event for web designers in Asia. The conference will take place at the 4th Floor Multipurpose Room of Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University, Manila.
The conference features an all-star lineup of industry experts, led by:
John Allsopp – founder of the Web Directions conferences, author of “A Dao of Web Design”, hailed as the “manifesto for anyone working on the Web”;
Jina Bolton – senior product designer for UX at Salesforce.com, authored Fancy Form Design and The Art & Science of CSS, leads the Sass design team, previously at Apple, GitHub, Engine Yard, Crush+Lovely;
Eric Clark Su – co-founder of Lifebit, has shipped over 20 mobile apps for some of the Philippines’ top brands, including Microsoft PH, Nokia PH, Axe, & Coke;
Sacha Greif – designer, developer, side project extraordinaire, built Folyo, Discover Meteor, Sidebar.io, previously worked with Le Monde, Codecademy, Hipmunk, Intercom.
FFC is open to all web practitioners, designers & developers, professionals & students, freelancers & hobbyists, makers of web & mobile sites/interfaces/apps. Whether you’re just starting to learn web design or are a veteran of the industry, you should make sure that your skills in design, front-end, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, UX are up to date & up to par.

Form Function & Class is organized by the Philippine Web Designers Organization (PWDO), a grassroots group of web professionals who want to create a venue for meeting and learning from the best minds in the industry.
FFC is PWDO’s culminating event for the year, following the sophomore year of its site-building hackathon for charities & non-profit organizations called Caritakathon, as well as the monthly MiniFFC web designer meetups, and the Junior Form Function & Class.
