MANILA – An expected crowd of over 6,000 Filipinos will flock to the SMX Convention Center this weekend for the two-day E-Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS)
Organized by Gariath Concepts and co-presented by PLDT Home and GameX, ESGS is arguably the largest e-sports competition / gaming convention in the country. It is also the most anticipated by both avid gamers and brands, considering that gaming events of this scale in the Philippines are relatively few but growing in popularity.
From featuring indie games, e-sports competitions, cosplay, and competitive games, adobo got dibs on what visitors can expect from ESGS this year:

BRAWL FEST
Brawfest is a newly introduced competitive gaming tournament from Playbook, PinoyPS, HotSeat, Imperium, & Rumpus Room Booth. The event wide tournament comprises of 14 famous console fighting games and everyone is welcome to participate in any of the titles. Registration starts by 10:00 AM on a first-come-first-serve basis.
