Hot in all senses of the word, summer is the perfect time for a global, multi-media values campaign against HIV by youth brands MTV and Body Shop.
Those with goodie bags to fill can purchase tins of the Body Shop’s Tantalizing Lip Butter, which contains moisturizing dragon fruit extract. A portion of each purchase will be donated to MTV’s Staying Alive foundation, which supports young people and youth groups worldwide in working for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. This year the campaign emphasizes knowledge of HIV prevention — spreading the word with supple, moisturized lips.
This is the third campaign in the series by MTV and Body Shop, after 2007’s THE SPRAY TO CHANGE and MOVE YOUR LIPS in 2008. The Philippines is running a localized version of a more explicit US campaign.
