MANILA – As Filipinos gear up for Christmas, the Yuchengo Museum hosts the holiday edition of the Habiness! And All Things Handmade Bazaar, an intimate four-day textile showcase and fair where ten especially invited vendors will sell their handcrafted wares.
The bazaar will run from November 6 to 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Yuchengco Museum in Makati. Habiness! will bring together local products made by artisans, artists, and community and livelihood groups from all over the country.
The bazaar offers goods that are definitely not the usual mall fare, with handmade jewelry and clothing, embellished fabrics, and modern home décor. Among the wares to be sold at Habiness! are tepiña shawls and blouses from Palawan, inabel blankets and fabric from Ilocos, and shoes, clothing, and bags made from various local textiles.
Bazaar entrance is free. For more details, call the Yuchengco museum at (632) 889-1234 or visit www.yuchengcomuseum.org.
