MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Travellers can now avoid long lines and save time from getting their bus or ferry tickets as airasia launches its latest Super App offering: airasia transport. This allows users to book tickets for buses, trains, and ferries seamlessly right on the airasia Super App.
Already one of the top players in the OTA (online travel agent) space with flights from over 700 global carriers and over 700,000 hotels on its platform, the airasia Super App is now making available the option for users to book alternative modes of transport to their end destinations.
In the Philippines, airasia transport connects its users to their destinations in Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao via bus and ferry operators.
Travelers can already secure their bus seats to Banaue, Baguio, Albay and other key destinations in Luzon. They can also book tickets for ferry rides to Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro and other Visayas or Mindanao key areas.
Aside from the Philippines, airasia transport is also available in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia with over 4,000 transport operators across ASEAN on the platform. The service is powered by 12Go, one of the largest ground transport OTAs in Asia.
