LOS ANGELES, USA — Following a banner year with the additions of Editorial Partners Brandon Porter and Conor O’Neill, along with the successful launch of a new outpost in Austin, award-winning creative editorial and VFX company Nomad is continuing to grow its all-star team with the addition of industry veteran Alaina Zanotti as Senior Executive Producer in Nomad’s LA office.

With over fifteen years of experience leading creative teams and driving growth across the advertising and entertainment industries, Alaina boasts an impressive resumé that includes collaboration with agencies like Wieden+Kennedy and BBDO for some of the biggest global brands like Apple, Disney, and Paramount, to name a few.

Alaina Zanotti

Formerly an Executive Producer at Company3, Method Studios, and at editorial and post-production studio Cartel, she brings a wealth of experience in developing and managing business all while balancing reel and revenue, and supporting her creative teams. Alaina noted, “We’re all married to our jobs in this industry. I was at Company3/Method Studios for eleven years, so loyalty is something that’s incredibly important to me. I took some time away to be with my family, and when the opportunity to join Nomad presented itself, it was too enticing of an offer to refuse. I knew my next position wasn’t an interim, one or two-year thing — I was looking for the next ten years of my life. Nomad is a worldwide family, and that’s the home I was longing for.”

Along with her passion for producing, Alaina also co-founded Lost and Found, a grassroots non-profit organization to help benefit homeless youth, with PRETTYBIRD Partner Ali Brown and advocate for unhoused youth, Amy Favat. The goal of the organization is to retrieve lost and found goods from LA gyms and distribute them to those in need. While the pandemic temporarily halted operations, they plan to reopen sometime before the new year.

Nomad Partner Brandon Porter is especially excited about her joining, citing, “Alaina is a rockstar! When we heard she was available, we crossed our fingers and toes hoping it would work out. The impact she had at her previous tenures cannot be understated. Her experience, relationships, and overall greatness as a human being will be integral to our future ambitions as a company. We can’t wait to get things going.”

As the newest addition to Nomad, Alaina Zanotti joins a team that perfectly matches her skill set and goals. She furthered, “I’ve known Nomad for a long time. As a strong legacy brand, they have recently been working towards a renaissance of sorts with new talent, updated studio, and so many bits of business I have yet to dive into — on a global scale, no less. There are so many wonderful things happening, and I’m looking forward to helping continue to form and share the Nomad story.”

Her leadership style is driven by her experience within business and technical management with a concentration on sales, marketing, client management, and operations. Known in the industry as honest, fair, and trustworthy, she has garnered lasting relationships with clients and peers alike. With an ability to balance the creative and business aspects of any project and leveraging an understanding to forecast new technology and its impact on organizations, Alaina is a perfect addition to the team.

Nomad Partner Conor O’Neill also shared his enthusiasm: “We’re super excited about Alaina joining us at Nomad. Her past experience in expanding the footprint of Company3, as well as her long-standing relationships with people in the worlds of both production and post-production, will undoubtedly help us expand our horizons moving forward.”
