MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Residents of real estate developer DMCI Homes’ new condominiums will now have access to a dedicated commercial-grade fiber internet upon move-in, similar to the service premium hotels provide their guests.

With this innovation, homeowners can easily connect to the community internet service in their units and in the property’s common areas. Even with this initiative from DMCI Homes, residents can still subscribe to their preferred internet service provider.

“Internet access has become vital for everyday activities because of the pandemic that’s why we want to ensure our residents are always connected wherever they are on the property,” DMCI Homes Project Development Vice President Dennis Yap said.

First to enjoy the dedicated commercial-grade fiber internet access are the residents of Prisma Residences, a three-tower development along Pasig Boulevard corner C.P. Garcia Avenue (C5 Road) in Pasig City.

DMCI Homes introduced the new amenity when Prisma Residences’ Astra building started accepting move-ins in May.

“This service will now be a fixture in our upcoming ready-for-occupancy projects and our future developments to give residents a reliable internet connection on top of their personal subscriptions from their service provider of choice,” Dennis added.

“New normal” amenities

Known for its track record of providing innovative solutions to elevate the living experience of condo-dwellers, DMCI Homes has been introducing new facilities and amenities to help condo residents better adapt to “new normal” living.

In July last year, DMCI Homes unveiled a coworking facility in its Lumiere Residences project along Pasig Boulevard, Pasig City, to provide residents a professional workspace where they could do productive work for remote working or distance learning.

Besides Lumiere Residences, coworking spaces are also being considered in DMCI Homes’ future projects to help residents better adapt to the lifestyle changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.

Another DMCI Homes innovation is the community shuttle service, which will provide condominium residents a convenient ride around the metro. A community shuttle service is being considered in DMCI Homes’ future projects to help residents conveniently go to key areas around Metro Manila by just booking a ride through the DMCI Communities mobile app. Through the app, future residents can easily book a ride, wait for the shuttle service to arrive, and then get off at their selected drop-off point.

Prisma Residences is one of the developments of DMCI Homes, the country’s first Quadruple A real estate developer known for building quality resort-inspired communities in Mega Manila, Baguio City, Boracay, and Davao City. Each of its properties is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.’s over 60 years of expertise in the construction and development industry.
