Levi’s awards $150-M global media business to OMD

GLOBAL – JANUARY 28, 2011 – OMD has won Levi’s global media, strategic planning and buying assignment valued at US$150-M. Levi’s consolidated its three media agencies to one, ousting incumbents Starcom and Mediacom.

OMD has also been awarded all digital assignments in the US, removing Razorfish from the equation.

OMD Asia Pacific will handle additional markets–Australia, Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and New Zealand–to its current scope of work. OMD currently hold the account in Hong Kong and China. The regional account is estimated to be worth $50-M.
