MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The world’s #1 Scotch whisky, Johnnie Walker, has launched the Johnnie Highball Bar, an interactive pop-up at Burgos Park, Forbestown Road, Taguig. Open from April 29 to May 28, the Johnnie Highball Bar puts highballs at the center of socialization with good food, great music, and interactive activities to complete the enjoyment.
With the launch of the Johnnie Highball Bar, the leading Scotch whisky brand continues to push the envelope. From the Johnnie Walker House Pop-Up in 2018 to the Johnnie Highball Arcade in 2020, this year’s activation is a testament to Johnnie Walker’s commitment to deliver bigger and bolder experiences to whisky lovers and whisky novices alike through the Johnnie Highball.

The Johnnie Highball Bar is truly a great place to discover one’s next favorite drink. Apart from Johnnie Walker’s signature serves, Johnnie & Lime, Johnnie & Ginger, and Johnnie & Apple, three new highballs will be available exclusively at the pop-up with recipes developed by Diageo Brand Ambassador Rian Asiddao and Diageo Reserve World Class Philippine Bartender of the Year Lester Ligon.
The Johnnie Citrus Smash, a definitive classic made even better, is one of the three new serves to expect at the Johnnie Highball Bar. It’s a remarkable combination of sweet, sour, and smoky flavors prepared using Johnnie Walker Black Label.
The Johnnie Root Beer Float, the grown-up version of a root beer float, combines the smooth textures of whisky and the sweetness of root beer – a truly decadent treat made using Johnnie Walker Black Label.
Meanwhile, the Johnnie Brown Sugar Boba is for those who are ready to take bold steps towards their highball discovery. This Earl Grey milk tea infused with the signature smoke of Johnnie Walker Black Label is served in a tall glass full of chewy boba.
The Launch Event
In a program hosted by Nico Bolzico together with Laureen Uy, the Johnnie Highball Bar was officially launched to select guests at an interactive event that gave them a taste of what to expect when they visit. Rian Asiddao took guests through a flavour journey of the Johnnie Highball Spotlight Serves, exclusively available at the Johnnie Highball Bar.
Johnnie Walker also partnered with Mango Room Studios to bring in Butta B, Nix, and Steelo to keep the energy high with great music throughout the night, and attendees were also treated to a surprise special performance by Careless Music’s James Reid.
