Team Philippines turns on the Spikes in Singapore

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, SEPTEMBER 16, 2011: Two days before Spikes Asia festival, the Philippine team is in fierce battle mode to bag top festival metals and take in the talks and more. This year, the country’s influencers are joining separate juries in Spikes Asia 2011, which will be held at the Suntec Convention Center in Singapore.

Take Two for Publicis Manila
After placing third in the Kidlat Awards 2011, Publicis Manila Copywriters Kyle Gozo, 27, and Mike Luchico, 28, came a little short of representing the Philippines in this year’s competition. That is until Kidlat second-placers former Euro RSCG creatives Lora Aniag and Rene Carlo Cruz dropped out of the competition due to age restrictions.

Philippine Young Spikes: Kyle Gozo and Mike Luchico

Now, the duo from Publicis Manila are gearing towards another career-making moment by representing the country in the Young Spikes competition. While admittedly busy with work, the Philippines Young Spikes have done whatever homework they could regarding the competition. “We are expecting an integrated challenge,” says Mike.

Kyle on the other hand has a hunch that this year’s competition will have them racking their brains out for a worthy cause, most probably an NGO. Judging from what we’ve already seen and heard, all we know is that competition will be fierce, and that’s what we’re preparing for," says Kyle.
