Brand & Business: JCI Philippines steps up its digital efforts with PayMaya

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — With the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines, Inc. realizing how digital payment platforms are critical for the continuity of its operations, the organization stepped up its digital transformation efforts with PayMaya‘s innovative digital payments solutions. From the online collection of fees for conferences to payments for merchandise, JCI Philippines members can now experience a safer and more convenient way to transact with the organization.

JCI Philippines members can pay for their dues and event fees using PayMaya, any Visa, Mastercard, and JCB credit or debit card as well as other e-wallets. The organization is equipped with the PayMaya One terminal for face-to-face transactions; payment links for email, SMS, and messaging apps with the PayMaya Digital Invoice; and soon, PayMaya Checkout for web-based payments.

To further encourage its members to practice safer contactless transactions, the association encourages its over 5,000 active members nationwide to open a PayMaya account. It also aims to distribute PayMaya physical cards to members by the end of September.

Promoting entrepreneurship

Most JCI Philippines members are business owners, and the association regularly conducts its Subject Matter Expert Townhall, where PayMaya has been a regular resource.

PayMaya officers have been a mainstay, sharing tips, insights, and various solutions that business owners can avail of as they plot out their business’ digital transformation during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
