SINGAPORE – Connection, conversation and quality coffee is on the menu at Subway, as the restaurant brand partners with The Coca-Cola Company to bring Costa Coffee back to Singapore after a three-year hiatus.

The return of Costa Coffee on the 20th of April is a perky addition to Subway’s freshly made breakfast options, and aligns with its latest campaign #Talkofthemorning, which aims to encourage Singaporeans to lean into their love of coffee and breakfast as a driver of meaningful connections with one another.

“Singapore’s growing fixation on coffee has led to a flourishing coffee culture, which is a big part of breakfast – arguably one of the most important meals of the day. Through Subway’s #Talkofthemorning campaign and the return of Costa Coffee, we hope to encourage Singaporeans to use breakfast as a time for reflection and planning, before the start of their busy days,” said Samad Mohd Shariff, Country Director, Subway, South East Asia.

As part of #Talkofthemorning, Subway customers can enjoy a limited edition customised coffee sleeves with every purchase of Costa Coffee. The sleeve features questions to prompt conversations with one another. The coffee sleeves will be available across all Subway restaurants starting May and until stocks last.

Given Singaporeans consume roughly 2.6kg of coffee per person annually, many will be pleased with the availability of Costa Coffee across all 127 Subway restaurants, which will offer six different variations of coffee, including the signature Mocha Italia flavour.

Guests can pair their morning brew with any of Subway’s delicious subs, salads and wraps – or even some freshly-baked cookies for an indulgent start to the day.

“Subway was the natural option for Costa Coffee to mark its return to Singapore. With a successful long-term partnership and a good grasp of the breakfast market, Subway knows what works. Through this strategic partnership we hope to delight coffee lovers in Singapore once again with our signature Mocha Italia flavour,” said Louis Balat, Chief Executive Officer of the Coca-Cola Bottling Investment Group for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.

Through the Necta Kalea Machine, Subway can dispense close to 150 barista-quality hot coffees per day.

Hot coffee options start from $2.90 for an Americano, or a coffee can be paired with the crispy hash brown combo at $4.00 to elevate the taste of every meal.
